You all thought you were too good for Pelini…he’s the best you’ve had in well over a decade.
There was no mystery about it. Eichorst hired Riley primarily because he thought he could easily control Mike not because Mike was a better coach.
It would be better to pay him by the number of games he wins. That would result in the greatest savings.
Just because I don’t feel Nebraska will have the luxury of hiring a high profile coach if/when the plug is pulled on Frost, I imagine someone like Troy Calhoun or Bronco Mendenhall would be suitable to try and right the ship
True. As long as fans don't lose faith because we aren't instantly winning the B1G and going to the playoffs.
I used to hear conspiracy theories that TO sold his soul after the '93 season in exchange for championships. Also, that Lil' Red is a cursed demon that emerged to ensure the debt is repaid.

There's absolutely no way in hell we could hire Art Briles - he'd take the job for nothing, but he's on the absolute blacklist - Grambling State couldn't even hire him as an Offensive Coordinator this year because the backlash was too great.
We could start with Sleeze 1,2,3 and just look the other way. LOL
Meyer turns it around in 2 years. Part of his contract could read no cell phones allowed in any restaurant, bar, or club he is relaxing in.
Gotta keep Freeze off the phone. And Briles is total sleeze as well.
I think Peterson is average, everybody hates O'Brien, Campbell seems to have a low ceiling, Frank is too ******* old, I would love to have Rhule and I doubt Aranda would come to NU. Stoops is way too successful and comfortable to take a HC job anywhere.
After the quality of football we have witnessed the past 7+ years, it's kind of humorous the number of potential coaches being written off as bad hires. 
Dan Mullen, Guys Malzahn, Chip Kelly, Mike Leach, Mark Mangino, Mark Dantonio, Gary Patterson, Jim Tressel, Bobby Petrino, there are many guys that may want one more shot at reclamation . Depends on if you care about some shady past. If you want to just ignore why these guys were forced to step aside.
If things get turned around it will be due to Whipple, Raiola, Joseph and Applewhite's coaching not Frost.
So, let's give them some time and see if they can do it.
I would like Frost to take the same advice and not but in like he did today with onside kick call.

Who in world could you hire that would bring the same amount of joy and hype as the Frost hire did? The vast majority of fans wanted Frost as HC going back 10 years or more. Nebraska guy, Offensive genius, he was destined to lead the program back to greatness.
