Yeah, I’m calling BS on the tweet... Blackshear may still come but that jack wagon doesn’t know anything. Cal has specifically said he never promises anyone a starting job. He would have to work for everything...

Agreed. If Cal didn’t offer Anthony Davis a starting job he sure as hell ain’t gonna over Blackshear one.

It seems our mojo is back. Arguably #1 class.. and probably a firm #1 class when we get McDaniels. Strong recruiting for 2020.

I've said this a bajillion times and I'll continue to say it: FBI has nuked the cheaters, and for Duke, losing Capel was a double whammy. Kentucky recruiting has swung back and it's pretty clear to see why.

I'll definitely say a firm #1 with a McDaniels commitment. To hell with the detractors. Currently #1 class on 24/7 https://247sports.com/Season/2019-Basketball/CompositeTeamRankings/

Blackshear is thinking NBA. If Blackshear doesn’t stay in the NBA draft, he will not announce that decision until the end of this month. I think Blackshear would perfectly fit into our next basketball team, but I have not seen any reason to believe he is coming to UK. Anonymous tweets don’t matter. People inside the program are forbidden to discuss recruiting. If we get McDaniels, our front court might look too crowded to Blackshear. I am not arguing which would play more, but I doubt Blackshear chooses UK if McDaniels is on the roster.

I believe Kerry Blackshear is returning to school. No NBA Draft or G League Combine Invite. Coming to Kentucky would do wonders for his brand and can't hurt his draft stock if he comes back choosing to go to UK.

Some trainer on twitter says Blackshear is coming regardless who comes back

Okay, if that actually happens, I will literally mess my pants with every fluid in my body, apply lipstick and probably forget who I am for at least an hour.

That's insane (Blackshear coming to UK in addition to Juzang AND McDaniels, not the lipstick thing… .. well, that's insane too, but you get my drift).

Sestina is better than any of the freshmen. He and Blackshear could start. He can shoot and he has size and experience. Two things needed to win a championship.

Yep, if he were a freshman coming out right now with the skill level he has now he'd be a star of the class

I don’t think all recruits need to hear the same things. Cal knows what they need to hear and pitch it. No one is gonna come out and say “cal promised me a starting spot”. I bet though cal has offered that starting spot or major minutes to a few recruits he needed in the 11th hr.

I have no clue what cal told blackshear. The bottom line is he would 100% start on next years squad and it's not even close. We have no one that even resembles his combination of skill and experience. The guy is a conference poy candidate in any conference.

If we were to get RJ Hampton and Blackshear.... OMG. Such a monster class is, under anyone else ... unimaginable. But there is a remote possibility of getting ALL of them, everyone we could possibly want. I would be high on #9, as the rest of us would be, if it happens.
