It’s probably because a tank of gas and a dozen eggs cost about $90. That number was significantly lower a year ago, so people aren’t celebrating the price of eggs. Common sense.

I know I’m upper middle class. I have concern for those that aren’t. People who pay $145 to fill their tank, or 3k a month for water, are the minority. Most don’t live that way.
Gas is cheaper in Colorado than it is in Arizona or Texas. About $1 cheaper than Arizona. Arizona is one of the most expensive states in the country for gas right now. Once again, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Arizona gas is expensive not because of taxes, but because it has no refineries AND half of its supply comes from California. The other half comes from Texas and those pipelines are maxed out. As a result, Arizona is at the mercy of California choosing to close refineries. Another factor is the moronic EPA clean air standards which can never be met because all it takes is one dust storm to kill the numbers. Sit this one out since you are clueless and whiny. And let's note I am not the one whining about gas prices. I was pissed when 5 dozen eggs was $25. Insane - all caused by your side.

As the attached article says, the Iran regime controls the straits of Hormuz and seems to be doubling down on maintaining 100% control of it. Apparently only a few ships, that pay iran a toll, are passing at the moment. Going to be interesting what comes of the negotiations. Whatever this iranian regime agrees to they will violate and continue to terrorize the iranian people and eventually those around them.
So although it is easy for me to say: I'd rather we finish the job. I'm afraid Trump is under such pressure from everywhere to reopen the strait that we will agree to a deal and the iranians will gradually violate it -- and if the Dems get control, the iranians will be back to their usual ways, by 2029 at the latest. Dictators with total power that terrorize their people can be patient. Except they now will have more advanced weapons to export to terrorists everywhere.
