AI is summarizing actual polling results. Have you never used it?

How does it feel to be a profound idiot? Yesterday, stonedax didn't understand how AI works, today you don't understand "margin of error." Go figure.

I didn't respond yesterday as I thought you weren't following the thread. Today I don't know what your issue is. My point in the thread is that RDS was probably underwater HOWEVER THERE WERE NO RECENT POLLS on him. There were a handful from December 2025 to the most recent in April 2026.
As there are no recent polls, AI can't analyze what doesn't exist. Maybe I am just stupid and you can explain how AI can analyze poll results that do not exist. If it is extrapolating based on polls 4-8 months old, that is meaningless. RCP already gives his average approval based on those old polls at 50%, That ended in April.
If there were recent polls we, at least I, wouldn't need AI to analyze them as I can read them to see what the Favorabilty number was as compared to the Unfavorability number.

I think this is mostly reasonable. I get lost when they over poll their side or don't focus on likely voters. Recent presidential cycles seem to error to the left. A disturbing trend to some of us.

I think Dems have been very slightly undervalued in the last two midterms, especially 2022. Likely a function of Trump era coalitions.

The reverse seemed to happen under Obama.
