Newman and Brown

[Galbpt02]

I know these guys were competitive in the McDonalds AA game - but that is because both are competitive. Maybe they don't like each other and maybe they won't go to the same school - but everyone said the Harrisons and Randle would not go to the same school - I trust in Cal and hope they are both competing for #9 together at UK!!

I definitely trust Cal to make the right decisions in terms of who is or isn't a right fit. If they want to play at Kentucky, and want to play together, we might get them both. But based on all I've read I doubt it. Brown seems like he might not be the perfect fit, but I don't know the kid and I definitely trust Cal to work his magic when the new team arrives. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

This is the second time I've read about Brown and Newman not getting along here . Did I miss something?

I did read an article during the week leading up to the Mdd AA game that stated at one point Brown was so frustrated with Newman that he stopped the scrimmage and yelled to everyone , " HE IS NOT A POINT GUARD ! " I'm sure that didn't sit too well with Newman , as point guard is the position he really wants to play . But I don't know of anything else .

Words said out of frustration during a scrimmage? I wouldn't take that too seriously.

Just sounds silly. Stopped the scrimmage at an All-American practice? Let alone any practice at all? What did he do? "I commandeth ye to halt! This man is not a point guard! I refuse to practice further until he is moved to the appropriate shooting guard position, or until he sits on the bench! Then I shall allow practice to continue!"

Stop reading articles on the onion. It's a satire news site...
