Well Hawk fans, new year .....new hopes. But, wait.....same old crap. 2 games into the season, and they suck just like last year. 1st and goal inside the 5 yard line and can't punch it in. Iowa line up for a 2 pt. conversion and I told my son....no no no....just take the extra point. Iowa loses by 1 point. It is really hard to watch this team anymore. Can't get quality skill players and the O line sucks. On and on....the qb not much better. Oh well....time to start the Ferentz dumpster fire rumors again.

I completely agree....1000% ! I told my son that. I said....no no no....take the point, too early. KF, in my opinion is a dumb...s always being outcoached.

Why did Ferentz take Johnson out of the games on the two series inside the 5? Lashonn is not as good as Johnson right now - should have left him in - it's almost like they didn't want him to get easy TD's - reminds of one of the movies where the coach is always taking the start RB out near the goal line and having the FB run the ball - poor coaching decisions are going to kill us - and if we think KF will change QB's - don't hold your breath, he stuck with Deacon Hill all last year - I guess all of our QB recruits are horrible - who is the QB coach? Are we even trying to develop these guys? For a major college program, this is pretty pathetic

NW, Nebraska, WISC all averaged between 22.5 and 24 ppg last year with new OC's. This year Nebraska is playing very well. I can't speak for the other two. I feel we will be in the 20-25 ppg ourselves until the O gets more experience with the new system. The o-line is very frustrating. Might be time for the OL coach to go but KF will never do it during the season.
