1) better health. My BP is too high. Could be a ticking time bomb.
2) drastically cut back time spent online. Not so much social media, because that doesn’t interest me a lot, but news and politics, and especially YouTube usage.

Not really the point. At the end of one year and the start of a new one, people historically contemplate their lives, and where they are versus where they would like to be. Obviously one can do this activity anytime.
