Anddddd I think we’ve stumbled on a generational divide.
I like the idea of alternate uniforms and I generally like the idea of throwback uniforms. The Cincinnati Reds have had some awesome throwback uniforms this season for their 150th anniversary. However, I happen to not like these particular throwback alternate uniforms. They are boring and don't actually represent an era of NU history. So, generational or not, these alt unis seem pointless and not very interesting. That all said, I will care not at all about uniforms come September 28th as long as the Cats look good on the field.

Just think thata "throwback" uniform should relate to a year or era. Still don't care if they wear pink, just WIN!

Type is really hard to do well. If you can't do it well, skip it. Just have the player's name and number, let the color tell the story about NU. I do agree simpler is better. I like PSU's uni's.

Really have we become Oregon who has a gazillion uniforms? I would just like to see one home, one away and one alternate/throwback to be worn for a special occasion. And before anyone says the guys like it that is so not true, many times the kids have said these alternate uniforms are sick but other times they have said these are awful

No, what?
Type is hard to do?
Just name and number?
Simpler is better?
PSU's uniforms?

My basic point is that NU has a difficult time with design (of any kind). While these uniforms are not terrible as I originally said, they are not good, just a poor attempt at throwback. We can do better, how?

You're not going to be able to do this much longer. Word is gocatsgo has filed a trademark application on one-word responses.

I'm just messing with St. Paul. I still have one one-word response left.

Agree on all counts.
