Just read something online all the turf is finding it's way into the ocean as turf does not break down

Saw one of the games had turf with ground up coconut husk & cork. Stays same temp in hot or cold weather and has more cushion

Coconut turf may be getting more play in the near future

Yep it has to be bad for the environment and the kids that play on it . Every time I have done some type of athletic activity on them , I was covered in the black pelllets ! Is that normal ?? Can’t be good swallowing that stuff.
Plus, I like watching games on grass. I hate Notre dame but what a sight watching that beautiful grass field …the turf now isn’t the same.
I assume grass is better for player safety
