Hello. Here in Italy, there are rumors that Theo Airhiembuwa (6-7, SF) is transferring to the NCAA. The college's name hasn't been announced yet, but Seton Hall is considered the most likely destination. Last year, he played sporadically in Trento, in the top Italian league: 4 mpg, 2.1 ppg. Are there any rumors of that in New Jersey?

I have seen no mention of him to SHU, but that doesn't mean much as most SHU player signings these days come without much rumor.

Has been some discussion of SHU add big man or two from Europe.

See this article at him leaving Trento & wanting to play college ball, but no schools listed.

We HAVE a commitment from a player from Italy. I just found out 5 minutes ago. My source who called me does not know his name.

Is he as good as Marco lokar?
I'm old enough to remember Marco Lokar at Seton Hall, one of the first italian to play in Ncaa. His freshman year, he had a 41- or 43-point game, right?
Theo is a totally different player: great physical tools, lefty, a little inconsistent as a shooter and too selfish at time. I think he's quite good for Ncaa type fo play.

Any idea on how Theo is on the defensive side of the ball?

He was an ethnic Slovene near Trieste
At time was a big east freshman record for points single game 41 vs Pitt

This is going exactly as I hoped. Now I have to arrange for him to come here. But If he gets struck by lightning or shot in the head by a police officer. I’m going to blame some of the people in this room. And that I do not forgive.

Reminds me a little bit of Mamu bringing the ball up on the break, passing the ball and shooting the lefthanded three point shots .
