Not many upsets so we will likely only climb to 16 or 17. I'm sure the Tarholes will only fall 2 or 3 spots and still be ahead of us.

I’ll bet we end up 13-16. I couldn’t care less about rankings in December though. All I care about is seeding. If we play like we did last night the sky’s the limit. We need to watch the turnovers and continue to move the ball around. Whoever the open man maybe has to knock down the shot. We need to beat Louisville for sure. If we continue to get better I have a good feeling about tenn/auburn this yr

You do know ranking and seeding go hand in hand..

ESPN Power rankings are out and UK not in Top 16. UNCheat is 13th. Yeah.

I laughed at that. And why 16 teams? I'm guessing because it makes all seeds 1 through 4?

Whatever. The media knows what happens when you overlook Calipari teams, whether they care to admit it or not.

It would be fun to come in way underseeded for once, and hear the other team squeal about it not being fair.

KenPom has UK 15. The metrics rankings are what I put more stock in, not the human rankings. Human rankings involve bias in opinion. Metrics rankings involve nothing more than numbers. More objective.

North Carolina dropped from 4 to 7. Tells me UK soundly beat a team that is probably better than them and UK has had a somewhat sub par season prior to yesterday. Be interesting to see how high UK can rise in the next month.

Louisville is ranked 38 and UK is a 1 point favorite for next weekend.
