Two comments not particularly directed at you just the thread.

1. This is why you have coach speak - doesn't mean they have had consequences for penalties before or had never done this before. Once he says something about what they are doing to correct it (maybe at the prompting by a question), you get "oh great in year 3 we think to do this". That is BS, it is just another way or a different consequence to try to bring more focus.

2. The video you show doesn't reflect OL error to me but a read error - my interpretation, but it looks like the guy that brought down Mills was the read guy and he was committed to Mills. But that was my take when it happened live in the game.

And when we bench the starters then we would have numerous people bitching that the most talented players aren’t on the field.

I think that's exactly the pinch they've been in. They have nobody better to run out there if they yank somebody for being stupid or bad at football.

I fully agree. As the coaches do apparently.

It echoes the OL thread. It appears the coaches want to rotate a bit there as Piper rotated in the first game. I just don’t think the feel comfortable with rotating anyone else in

It's a vicious cycle. Guys don't ever get experienced and learn from their mistakes if you never play them.

I suspect they're realizing what a lost season this looks like and leaning toward letting the young dogs hunt and take their lumps. You know what the ceiling is on a lot of these guys by now, they're players who lead you to a boatload of losses.

No kidding people!!! Moving it up to one lap is a very big jump from what they were doing before. This staff is serious about penalties. Look at their progress year over year. Jeesh people!!!

Are you seriously saying we should bench a starter for a half for getting the count wrong???? I always thought the object of the game was to win. If we have a player that consistently gets the count wrong he shouldn't be starting in the first place. Why are you going to degrade a team for getting the count wrong??? GBA/GBR

Maybe the same rule can be implemented for bizarre play calling inside the red zone.

What about running an RPO inside the opponents 5 yard line?

He better make sure he has a fresh set of Adidas ready to go...at least they are free for the coaches. Winking

Frostie is feeling the heat...he needs to stop talking and show it. When you lose twice as many as you win it is time to stop telling us.

I think we have to remember we paid a guy 5 million because he had one winning season at UCF. Most impressive win in his career has been against a 4 loss team. So, it is completely plausible that they have no idea what they are doing. I still vote to give time, lots of time, set expectations lower, and let Frost grow. Probably still cheaper than a buyout and new guy.
