I have been a DUKE basketball fan since the Hal Bradley days. I am 74 years old so I qualify for the OFC. I am a retired soldier with 30 years service therefore Sgt Duke. My grandfather worked at Duke when I was young. He had duties at Duke Indoor Stadium (Cameron) during basketball games and I would go with him. As a child I was lucky enough to meet some of the players of the 50s and 60s. My favorites was Art Heyman, and Jeff Mullins,but my all time favorite is Hack Tison. He took time with me and made me a hero to all my jealous High School friends. I look forward to conversing with you fine Duke fans.

Hi! Welcome to the board. Thank you so much for your service! I wish I could have met some pre-coach K Duke players. I would have loved to have met Art Heyman and would love to meet Jeff Mullins! Have u ever met Dick Groat by chance?

Sgt Duke welcome- remember Hack well! Its great to have you join us proud OFC'ers. Now dont go listening to those young studs QC and Mac- those boys will mislead you every time! (No seriously they are GOOD PEOPLE!!). Watch out for Sky and Dirt though, they do love to bring potted meat and Pepsi Colas to ALL our OFC meetings!

Big Sarge, welcome!!! I retired back in 05 with 20 years 15 days lol. My wife is a retired MP with 21 years. Thank you for your service young man. If you don't mind me asking, what was your MOS? OFC

Agree 100%....but I don't believe its him. I only had to read the original post once to understand it, AND, I don't believe he is capable of such a long post with no lolololo.....but still, if it isn't him, we could claim attempted identity theft, which could also warrant a permanent ban.

So jealous he was my first sports hero.Spent hours trying to imitate that slingshot jumper unfortunately did not work for me lol
