So Jalen Montonati...yes, son of Brian Montonati (OSU, Owasso HS HC) posted on Twitter that TU has offered. We were his 2nd, his 1st being OSU. He's a 6'8 HS FR! Class of 2026. This is the type of kid Haith would have drooled over but never had the balls to offer because he knew the kid was likely going to end up somewhere else. Provided Boynton and OSU don't have any other NCAA issues he's likely going to go there and we probably all know that. There is a chance Hollywood swoops in and lures him to Kansas. It will be interesting to see how much Konkol and the staff maintain the communication with him over the next couple of years.

Maybe the kid is bright and the higher level education draws him & his dad to TU. If wishes were horses.

We usually don't recruit our legacy kids.... Those that do come here are usually D2 players.
