Looks like a great athlete and looks like he can play both O and D--not just a one trick pony

on the downside if he's going to play against the Greg Wards and Caleb Wessons on the blocks, he needs to start eating a few pizzas

Wow. He gets up quick. This is the kind of athlete I’ve been wanting here. Hope we close him

PF...no need to battle centers like Ward or Wesson.

If Pikiell wants to go up tempo this is the perfect PF. I can guarantee he won't miss lob passes for dunks.

Based on his offer sheet think we have a good shot:

Loyola Marymount
Umass
Siena
St Bonny
VCU
CCSU
Hofsta
URI

I like this kid. Size is nice, red shirt him for when Yeboahs eligibility is done. Put him on the Myles Johnson redshirt plan

Also his build and dunks remind of Darius Miles. Obviously not nearly as good but the build/look and dunks.

EDIT: Geo follows him on twitter. So i am assuming they may know eachother.

Looks like a Kadeem jack type. As mentioned already, probably needs a rs to improve size and strength.

IMO no way he redshirts. If that video is indicative of what he can do on the court, I can’t see redshirting a guy with his skillset just so he can gain weight.

he provides some skills the team needs. He can be a rim protector and provide athleticism at the 4. I trust the staff could get him to improve his game to meet the demands of the conference

Agree but he would play so little it would be best to preserve the year of eligibility. He would not warrant much time next year over Omoruyi, Yeboah, Harper, Carter, and Doucoure.

How does this kid compare to Cliff ? Cliff has much bigger offers but this kid seems like a similar player and maybe better right now. Cliff may have a higher ceiling because he hasn’t been playing that long though .

He and Mulcahy would be the only freshmen. If he redshirts we’d have 4 new guys in 2020. Would rather we keep a little more balance per class, besides the fact that he looks ready to go.

Not a chance he redshirts....he's physically faster and quicker than every big we have right now....kid runs like a deer and would lead team in blocked or altered shots....

He is different than any front court player we have. Just like Jacob Young is different than any back court player we have. Different players allow us to play different styles, great to have options.

He really is fast and very athletic. He probably could block shots and run the floor very well for us. I think he could be a contributor.

Video doesn’t show much except mostly uncontested dunks. He does seem very athletic and aggressive gong to the rim, which are things you can’t coach. Looks like he’d be a good addition.

This is the type of player that you get have a dilemma ...is the 5-7 minutes you get from him in year worth it...versus the minutes he would get as a 5th year guy .

And he could be young ...if he is moving from 2020 to 2019

He has explosion and hands you can’t teach

How many kids will get to 5th yr with grad transfer as an option? If he can help the team this year, I think you play him.

Yes it is worth it. NO redshirts. Keep recruiting better players.
