Need a quality QB for his kind of offense, watching them the last two games he likes to sling it around quite a bit..
If Thompson doesn't stick around I could see a high quality QB/WR transferring in, this is going to get interesting.
Love the hire but hope Thompson stays. Don’t have a single QB in that room that can run this effectively.
I hope he stays too....but the transfer portal changes the way that game gets played.

I wish. I think the Zane Train has left the station. What a blunder by the last staff. Up there with not offering the Westside QB last year. Meanwhile, HH is absolutely wasting a scholly.
Could be some QBs in the portal this year. That NIL money has to look good to some of those kids.

Rattler was the key to this year's Gamecock offense, but South Carolina used the Wildcat in running situations and in the red zone with Dakereon Joyner, a 6-1, 215-pound WR as the Wildcat. Joyner had played QB before making the switch to WR.
Despite his reputation for pushing staff, people who have worked with Rhule seem eager to work with him again.
A good friend of mine was offered a job (oline) by Rhule when he was at Temple. Ultimately turned him down but he has nothing but great things to say about him.
OC was a great coach for Rhule at Temple. Says more that coaches wanted him to stay fans, can be a little irrational sometimes. Very excited to see an offense similar to the one at Temple the Fullback is back baby!
