New name using now

There's a lot of new names on this board mixed in with familiar ones.
I believe a TKR member just changed a 1 to a 2 in his handle to post here now.
If you would, new names, please state your old handle and the new one you're using now.
Sort of like : Hi I'm Madhat1, I used the Madhat1 handle before the change to on3

rutgersguy1 now rutgersguy2…status, likes and the rest isn’t a big deal to me so no biggie. It’s just a nice social gathering place to chit chat about whatever with other RU and CFB fans. Couldn’t think of a reason where it’ll matter to have the old name vs a new one so I’m good.

I had the same issue when I signed up but I just made a new account (no transfer over) because I couldn’t remember the email I used way back.

In my profile, it showed rutgersguy2 but on my first post it showed Anon1752….so I retyped the same username again in the profile section and hit save changes and that fixed it. Now that same section is not selectable for some reason so I can’t edit it if I wanted to change it to something else. But if that section is “editable” for you maybe you can type your username in the profile section and save changes and it might work.

I had the same trouble in 2003.
I'd been posting on this site when it was called SN since 2001 but couldn't [post under it after changing computer and forgot the e-mail address along with password I joined with.
So Madhat became Madhat1 and started posting under that.
As for post count lost, really didn't post too much on SN until SOR went off the message board site list and the SR board stopped being a good replacement a few years later
Actually my old posts are just old and not important, but continuing some of the threads that were going strong before the change would make a nice addition

My response was being very sarcastic but I do appreciate your help. I was following the right channels. Richie was helping as best he could (thank you Richie!). Emails to On3 took days for a response. My follow up emails to On3 took several more days to hear back with additional back/forth messaging. So here I am, back with the same name. Glad to be here but being away, not being able to read the free boards, then not being able to log in, 7-8 password resets that seemed to do Jack diddly squat and followed by not being able to post under my original name game me a nice little break from the forum. I've realized there is a whole nother universe besides Rutgers sports forums.

p.s. Given all the I mentioned above, How in the hell did Beaced find his way here at just about the same time as I did?!?!?!?!?!
