She certainly has the credentials, the energy and is a rising star in the coaching ranks. She might even relish taken on the challenge of replacing a legend in CVS.
Only question for me is that most of her roster is from the state of Mississippi, so building broader recruiting ties and hiring some assistants familiar with the Big10 would be key.
Since she states in the article that she stayed with Jackson State out of loyalty she may not want to leave them without a coach this late in the cycle even if she is interested. Having said that, it seems she is a bit miffed that they have not given her a salary bump and as we know money talks.
