Our uniforms are *** though. Nike is really sh*tting the bed with the sports bra shirts

And the checker board ... looks decent on the court where it's blue on blue and not as noticible but on our uniforms. ... yuck.

I pray we change them later in the year. I mean I'd rather bring ice cycle shorts back or denim or both. Anything but these eye sores

I tried to upload an avatar that is 200 x 200 pixels and 44.5kb in size and I get the error message that the avatar cannot be greater than 50kb. Anyone have any idea? Will check later. Go Cats!!

Man I hate it. Doesn't even look like a Wildcat. A real wildcat has short hair not long hair flowing in the wind. Nike got a 0 on this from me. I'm glad I have about 30 Tee's to wear. I will not buy anything UK with that logo. Nike's been around UK for a long time maybe time to look at other companies. I'm thankful someone brought this up!

Well, so much for that. I tried to send Mitch an email regarding this subject and I received a message that my email was undeliverable because his email rejected my message. I guess that shows how much they care about our opinion. However, like someone else said, I refuse to buy any gear that has that horrible logo on it. Money talks.

If they wanted just a wildcat head, they could've brought this one back. Or at least a similar updated version.

Did Barnhart tell Nike to do everything you can to piss off the fanbase? Because he succeeded. These are other examples of Barnie's clown show. I can only take comfort that UL's mascot is a damn bird with teeth.

The wildcat is what it is. That one does not bother me. The stupid K does. NO ONE writes a K like that. The fascination with the checkerboard could fade away as well.... But that dumb K.

My signature tells my thoughts on the stupid new cat logo. I also hate the new UK logo. The new K looks more like a H. I've yet to buy a single thing with the cat logo or the new UK logo on it. Sucks since I buy a ton of UK gear every year. There's a bunch of stuff out right now that I'd buy in a heartbeat but don't because it has the new UK logo on it.

The checkerboard pattern, ironically, was stolen by Tennessee off Kentucky, who used to have the checkerboard endzones. (or so I read somewhere)

I'm not sure how many people here played the old college football and basketball games but you had an option to make your own team and do their colors and logo and everything. It looks like one of the generic logos you choose in those games. Here's hoping someone knows what I'm talking about :flush:

I don't remember who has the latest logo shifted (in their sig) so that it looks like two crows getting it on but that is spot on.
UK...just go with the CAT clawing through the UK and leave it alone!

I'm glad I don't buy Nike products so I don't have to buy those poor decisions. I'll stick with whatever brands that have the old UK or wildcat logos on them.

All the other brands are bringing out the new UK logo but don't think I've seen the new Wildcat anywhere but on Nike. For me, I like the new UK but not a fan of the new Wildcat. Then again, I didn't care much for the previous Wildcat when it seemed to have a lot of orange going for it. I'm old school when it comes to the Wildcat logo and liked the old one that was just a Wildcat head like has been shown by a poster earlier in the thread. An updated version of that one would have maybe been pretty cool.

I may be in the minority here and I don't care. The new logo is bad a$$! As a matter of fact I believe the new wildcat logo is the coolest looking logo in all of college sports. I'm not kidding. I just think it's very cool. So many people saying they won't buy any apparel with the new logo and I'm the opposite. I've got stacks of wildcat gear with the old logos. I'm bummed that I can't find gear with the new logo. I was able to find a couple shirts online but it's very tough to get a good selection in stores. I think a lot of times people are just set in their ways and just act negatively to any change. But people like what they like and that's cool.

That's going Way Back! I bought a nice ski jacket with the penis tongue Wildcat on it for my husband years ago. He still wears it - it is classic - but many youngin's today do not know the controversy about that mascot!
