90% of the time, it's one or the other. If a player focuses on defense, he's going to have lapses on offense. I love that we are more of a defensive minded team.. but it's nice to have a guy like Knox every year, who can score all over the floor.

No, not really. But it doesn't take away from your serious assessment of his defensive skills based off a non-competitive pick up game where not one person is playing defense.

He's just not quick enough to guard a shooting guard at this level. This isn't just from observing the video.

Possibly. I will wait till he gets on campus, starts going through college workouts, and Cal gets in his ear, to decide. But you very well may be right. But the positive thing is, he won't really have to guard a 2, unless he gets switched on to them. We have plenty of capable bodies that can guard the 2.

I didn't see any D, but who cares in that type of game. KN is long. He isn't 6'7", he has long arms and should be a great offensive weapon next year. The D? Cal teaches D. Monk and Fox got toasted trying to defend for 2/3 of the year.

I know right. It is more sad then funny that people would make a judgement like that. Cal wants him as a 2g and sf then so do I.

If this video proves that Knox can't defend 2s even remotely then there's another video showing Quade will be one of the best 3 point shooters in the country so we're good.
