100 touchbacks in two seasons is one thing I saw on him. 25/26 on FG's inside of 40

I hope he never meets Joey Jones. I think it's too late though.

Does it state who is the main contact/recruiter is for this guy? Or, does everyone assume he just landed here by accident.

Doesn't say specifically but he and his dad had conference call with Joey Jones to confirm his decision and later had contact with Joemo

I'm glad we locked down recruiting a position we weren't too bad at. Who needs those receivers who can catch the ball or linemen who can pass block?***

This kid looks like an outstanding kicker but Christman has another year of eligibility I thought. Idk....insurance policy I suppose. Ruiz will have 2 years left

Christman has limited range and this guy would be worth the scholly for KO’s.... it’s always good to have some competition for positions...

Merry Flipmas, Saban.

January 2017. Just before signing day, MSU hosts two high school All-Americans for official visits - one a punter, one a kicker. The punter commits to MSU. The kicker, who had long been committed to Georgia Tech, decommits a couple of days after the visit. "We've got him in the bag," say MSU message board recruiting experts. But then something happens...

Bama's high school All-American kicker, who had been committed to Saban for over 6 months, decides on the proverbial eve of signing day to stay close to home and flips to Arizona State. Saban, no doubt incensed at being left at the altar, looks west to Starkville to take out his frustration. He lands upon the kicker coveted by the Bulldogs. To twist the knife even further than usual, Saban convinces the Georgia Tech decommit to take a blueshirt offer, which no one understands or even knew existed.

You all know the punter - Tucker Day.
You probably know the Georgia Tech decommit from his missed field goal at Auburn - Joseph Bulovas.
Meet the guy who spurned Saban - Brandon Ruiz.

Their futility with the majority of their kickers is a mystery. Baffling.

Seems like a smart kid, with offers from Ivy League schools in high school. Was an All-American too. Have never seen a Grad Transfer with two years of eligibility, but I'll take it.
Anybody know the status of his injury?

Did Woody even have the OC title? Because that was Croom’s offense. I thought Woody was the assistant head coach.
