What’s the biggest threats of Surry and Jl Burton? Anyone know where they have any game footage or highlights posted online? I’ve looked but haven’t run across it yet. I’ve heard a little about Surry but not much about Burton.

I've seen Surry twice they are very aggressive on defense. They play very well as a unit and have good size in the middle.

Burton, however has my vote at 2 because they beat a very good Eastside team.

Northhampton at 3 because they beat 2 good northern neck teams (Lancaster, CB).

CB at 4 because their only 1A loss so far was to #3 Northhampton

Grundy may be the sleeper team here. They very well could beat any in the top 4 on any given night including Surry.

Gotcha. I haven’t seen Surry at all. I’ve seen highlight of northhampton, they are definitely beatable. I saw that both CB games were close, CB also played them following district games the night before, and taking the long bus ride down there on a Saturday. Whoever it is, from what I’ve seen/heard, there should be some good games coming up.

Northampton has struggled a bit lately despite winning. Rivalry or not, they only beat Arcadia by 1 and 2 points respectively and then last night beat four win, yet very improved Charles City by just 3. That's why I decided to drop them out of the top 10 after previously having them ranked. Burton is indeed very good and have scored over 90 points on five different occasions. Grundy is a very, very good team and young on top of it. Their top 4 players are either sophomores or juniors. Their big guy Cade Looney reminds me of a young Brad Nuckles, who played for Council in the early 2000s and their point guard, Hunter Campbell might be the best pure point guard in the state at the 1A level.

Also Colonial Beach beat Northampton in their rematch last week. Their first game was played back in November.

Good correction. Yeah, Realized after I posted. Was thinking of Brunswick games. Northampton was home. The first time they played was early on CB was clicking at that time. Different play now.
