Your tribe is determined by how you feel about Calipari. That is generally determined by this:
If you are a Democrat cultist you generally love him and he can do no wrong.
If you are a Republican cultist you generally hate him because he kneeled with the team and pretty much nothing he does will ever be right again.

I must be an exception to this rule, then, or maybe I fall somewhere in between. I'm a conservative and usually vote Republican (though not always). I don't always like Cal from a personal standpoint. I don't know if I would be friends with him personally or not. I kind of doubt it. His ego rubs me the wrong way at times. But I do still believe he is the best guy to get this program back to where it belongs. As far as the political stuff, I try my best not to allow that to bleed over into other areas of my life. I won't allow that junk to be the focus of my life because I think I'd be miserable. I have friends from both sides of the aisle.
It was just a general overview of this board. It's a pretty spot-on breakdown though. There will always be exceptions to the rule.

Football Team has had a positive trend for several years....
Basketball Team has had one bad year and then an early exit in the tourney.
Regardless, the standards have always been high for basketball.
And one could argue that those standards have been met 1 or 2 times in the past 10 years.
Football team, well those standards Im not aware of how high they are but winning enough to be bowl eligible and winning the bowl game has become an expectation every year.

3. Sit back and watch as “side pickers” hate you because you’re not going to budge for anything or anyone. Call balls and strikes and root for Kentucky’s programs to be taken care of. That’s what a lot of people here don’t do.

We need 3 forms of identification! Welcome, but we are not going to tell you how you should feel. If you can't access the situation for yourself and decide then don't look for help. We are all biased, some have already saisd if Cal wins a national championship then they are still not on board, if that's the case they can go on up W64 and see how Payne works out for them, don't want or need cancers in the fanbase

I posted my OP and went to work for the rest of the weekend not sure what kind of response I’d have waiting for me today. The paranoia on this board is more than I care to fool with. I was reluctantly talked into just joining in. Thank you to the few kind posters that responded like adults I’ll just chalk the rest of you up to Cal haters. Will be looking for a board better suited to talk UK without all of the distrust. Should’ve listened to my gut. 2 post and done.
