For real? 11 months till signing day… 9 1/2 months to the early signing.. Do we have to start this conversation now? Every stinking year…
If we want to be a top recruiting program yes we do. I guarantee the top 10 do not only have 1 recruit. I don't believe there is anyone in the top 40 currently with only 1 recruit. It is the end of the world of course not. Can we gain ground, yes. Just an observation. The sky is not falling.
We are coming off the top 20 class, we haven’t even had our spring game yet where will bring in some big-name prospects… I guess I just think it’s a little silly to complain about numbers this early. Just my opinion.
The flip side of that is that assuming that we get off to a good start this fall, we might be able to pull in some more talented guys who are taking a wait and see approach right now. So would you want them to fill up on guys who maybe aren't as talented and forget about the guys who are committing later? IMO, being selective early this year will pay dividends later this fall.
Getting players to commit early is a plus but not needed . Mister will not make his decision for a while but there is no favroite in his recruitment.
