It is.

It was absolutely awesome in 03-05. And still cheap. Fell apart when Aramark took over.

Not only has the food gone down but they have let the interior of that building go down fast. It's all ways dirty and the serving stations are worse than an old mall food court.

Yes, Perry was the best thing going on campus for a good while as far as food options. I used to enjoy going in there on game days to get a cheap hot meal (and some air conditioning). Aramark ruined the experience. I hope it is salvaged.

Not sure about this but the pay for the person overseeing it sucked. I was looking at the job board and the onsite manager pay was only 50k. That's a lot of headache and employees to oversee for that money.

You knew you’d pay for it later, but that jalapeño dog at the Hump was a staple for me back in the day.

On a related note, I’m curious as to how this new agreement will affect Cohen’s low concession prices that he rolled out a couple years ago

Perry is under the Dining Services not the Athletic Department. Not sure if they have kicked Aramark to the curb too.

Perry Cafeteria was decent during the late 90s through when I attended 04-07. My family ate their regularly after church and during college it was a good study hall in the morning.
(2) biscuits w/ jelly + water was ~80¢.

Actually we never served Juicy Jumbos. Bryan actually made a hot dog just for State called the Bully Dog. It very well may have been a relabeled Juicy Jumbo but when my son played ball in high school we bought them for the school's concessions.

Late 80's through early 90's you could hang out with Dr. Z, lots of other profs and share breakfast with any of the head coaches at Perry. Jackie, Rick, Ron all ate there a lot for breakfast.

And the food was great.
