Welcome Mr. Jones.

It’s a long road ahead, but from the looks of it, the wind has certainly died from our recruiting sail as all of the known targets currently fit into that 5.5 / 85 three star range. Gonna need to get some W’s to land bigger fish from here on out.

I don't get too excited about these Florida commits any more. You have to wonder how long the commitment will stick or how long he lasts if he actually gets to Lincoln.

The positive is the 1) Nebraska staff has been recruiting him since they were at UCF. 2) He wasn't a last minute pledge. 3) He's not a 4* They usually don't last or contribute.

Give him 25% chance of staying with Nebraska past his sophomore year. Im completely over these Florida recruits like this.

Great news, the Huskers have a new player from Florida and....

But you never know, DiCaprio Bootle stayed all 4 years, and Braxton Clark hasn't transferred (yet), so maybe there is hope.

So I teach...and I teach a lot of seniors. You should see how many of them start their college search with a radius from Hawaii to Boston.

The ones that pick school farther than like 500 miles or a one flight (2 hours-ish) home, almost always end up back near Omaha.

Don't fault the kid. It is normal. Most of us losers have never lived more than 500 miles from where we grew up.

C'mon man. Quit pissing on the parade. The kid is a talented player who watched Frost's offense first hand and knows him well. This isn't a last minute pickup. I'm happy he committed.

I don't think this kid will stay a 5.5 3 star.

Ending up within 500 miles of your hometown doesn't make one a loser.

I think he is in the same mold as Betts. I think he has a similar build and running style. He looks like he would play an outside WR spot.

We are off to a slow start in this recruiting class due to covid. I am happy to see a player who knows his mind commit early as it helps build momentum.

I don't get the folks that complain about everything and anything. Life is to short to worry about who knows what.

Inappropriate to alter a quote like that. Mods please delete that post. You have the right to ***** and complain but not to alter a quote.

He's never been to campus, so this is not much of a commit at this point. 50% stick rate I'd venture.

I guess we will see. Pretty sure the vast majority of our commits never made it to campus last year. We also seem to have very few de-commits.

Seems like we're good for one commit each year that happens around this time where a kid announces and everyone goes, "....wait what?" I'll be curious to see if this kid ends up in the final class.

when he says big offers he means Florida, Georgia, OSU, OU, etc. pretty clear, IMO.
Meh. The kid has a nice offer list so far. Good enough for me. The schools you named don't get all the good receiver prospects coming out of high school.

His offer list is consistent with being a 5.5 3*. Would think is rating will trend up.
