I skimmed the title on this one too quickly and boy this is not the thread I expected.

I haven’t been following along, but apparently Clemson is in poor financial shape. Coincidence or not, our previous President abruptly resigned around the new year. There is some smoke of scandal, but nothing confirmed that I am aware of.

One has to wonder if the Michigan State president found things he did didn’t think he could overcome or if he really just loved Michigan State and couldn’t bare to leave as he is now claiming.

On the flipside, I’ve heard that he was into the woke ideology and some of the board were not very pleased with him as their hire. They wanted somebody more representative of the constituent population.
