Most recruiting visits in one portal cycle? This feels like Guinness Book material. Anyone have a standing count of how many recruits UK has been tagged to?

You are probably correct but most likely just about the same everywhere. The number of possibles has markedly increased in the portal age which continues to increase in contrast to the number of high school seniors you might be interested in.
IDK about that - I don't know if there is a program out there that is even a close second. Devries at IU, who's in a similar spot, seemed to pull together his class quick and quiet. We are on what feels like recruit 30.
Kansas has had 9 players visit this portal cycle so far and only has 1 committed. So I’d say we aren’t even close to that record.
There are a ton of other schools in the same boat. It’s the nature of the portal. Kansas current roster is in much worse shape than ours. Lots of schools have had more visits than us, our staff is doing an excellent job this portal season. Rushing to sign and overpay is what we did last year, this year has been much more calculated and it will be the best team Popes had easily when the dust settles.
I guess it is - what is going on over there? They have a HOF coach at the helm and everyone is bolting and no one is coming. Even Stokes is sitting back waiting for rosters to firm up and KU has nothing.
Weirdest period ever for the historical Blue Bloods with where UK, UNC & Kansas are. Duke and UConn chugging along, but I suspect Duke hits the skids a bit this year. I dont' think Scheyer has any idea how to coach when he doesn't have a National POY generational stud on his roster. Flagg & Boozer have carried him two years. With UConn, we just have to wait for Hurley to retire, lol.
