I see New Bern is o-fer so far after 2 weeks. What do the guys from New Bern see as the reason for the slow start? West Craven is playing well and playing on the road it looks like New Bern could have another tough Friday. Thoughts??

Hmm. 1. Played two of the better teams in state. 2. Returned maybe 5 or 6 combined starters. We expected to struggle early. Guys have to buy in and learn to play together and develop leaders just like 2013 team had to do after a state championship year. NB had to go against 3 D1 running backs the first two weeks, we get a break this week thankfully. Bears by at least 2 TD's.

You'll get a break alright. West Craven is as good as they have been in a long time. The leadership you say you lack well we have it. Get ready for 0-3

Boy the Scots love the Bears!

Otis- Good insight. Our boys will have extra protection in the men region for this one. Rigs likes to play down and dirty.

Give me a title with a down year any day. Happened in 2008, 2013 and again. I trust a coach with 3 rings. Clay knew where to go to get one.

Yea Clay did a good job of teaching New Bern how to play offense.

Never said you where foolish, I just think that The Bears Championship level coaching staff will have the Bears ready. I think the game will be close early on though.

You guy's must really be scared of losing tonight. You have hid all week. A scot fan has had to step in for you and he hasn't seen a down of West Craven football this year. One thing about it I'm here when we win and I'll be here when we lose. I guess knowing a 2A team (look at the numbers this year. Hopefully we get more next year and stay 3A) is fixing to clean your clock is more than you can stand. Seriously it's all in fun but I'm playing by myself. Here's to an injury free game. Updates coming.

We've never hid. Hard to when you have 3 titles in 8 years. I'm on OT and Carolina Preps more. New Bern will not lose this football game. 15 minutes away. Bobby Curlings gets his 100th win tonight in your house. Book it.
