I’m getting the feeling Gonzaga might be a bigger competitor for Banchero than UW
He's good but I don't think he will be any better than pj was for us last season. Sure he may do it as a freshman, but that doesn't matter
Fine by me. If you offered me the equivalent of a sophomore PJ at the 4 every year, I take it and never look back.
I truly don't understand this post or the point???? PJ was great last year and you are saying he'll be that as a freshman? Yeah, hard pass for me too
It's just one video, but I really liked how he passed the ball out of the high post. :eyes: Refreshing to see a highlight video that is more than just dunks.

He would start on this year's team. He'd be great next year with who we have coming in or 2021with Huntley-Hatfield/Ware/Jackson.
I love Banchero but the competition is horrid in this clip. Until they sign with UK and perform at the college level I'll temper expectations.
I agree, hard to get excited over these mixtapes where a dude clearly is just bigger and stronger than the rest of the competition and dunks the entire time. Don’t get me wrong, hope he comes and is everything the “stars” say he is, but I’ll also wait and judge these kids once they play against other college athletes.

This dude s ready. I just want him to say he's coming in 2020 and coming to UK. That would make next year's team unbelievable. All we are really missing is that game-changer big. I think Jackson is like a pogo stick and will be good at blocking shots, but we need some muscle inside that can't get pushed around. I thought that might be Big Cliff, the dude had 9 blocks the other night, but he seems so interested in sub-par programs. Maybe he comes around. He reminds me of a Cockburn or Oscar of this year. A guy in the 30s-40s that is built like a man and outperforms his ranking.
The good news is with 6 already wrapped up Cal can turn all his attention to bigs. If Quickly doesn't come back, (I really hope somehow he does) then I think we might need another guard. I kind of wish we wouldn't have bailed on Green and Christopher so early, but I guess Cal figured they just wanted us as hats on a table. It killed me when we backed off of Isiah Todd, but he still hasn't signed his LOI. Maybe weighing pros, but that would be an amazing flip.

Agree. He ain't going to UW IMO . But we are a HEAVY favorites . I just wonder whether he plays for us next season or in 2 seasons.

There’s plenty more videos of him on YouTube and different places you can watch!! Full games even. You guys temper your expectations though because of one clip of him playing smaller kids. There’s literally hundreds of videos and games online for him and our players, all you have to do is look for them. I promise you guys, this two minute video wasn’t the only time this kid has played basketball the last couple years. Lol. Anyway, he’s the real deal and sure hope Cal can bring him on down to Lexington. He’s gonna be a hell of a player.

No, I saw clearly that Whitney was an great athlete who couldn’t shoot. I thought he was at least a couple years player that could get better under Cal. Also, no need to get mad about it, I was simply saying there’s much more out there than just two minute mix tapes to watch of players if you want.
