I know the “wish list” conversation happens every couple days regarding a new head coach, but does anyone have a potential AD wish list?

Not just qualities but names? I’m clueless and would love some input. It’s SUCH an important decision for the future of the program.

well supposedly he is super young, like 40. I think I heard he had won some AD of the year award, and he is really Pro-NIL or good with NIL.

So if all of that is true, that would be good to great. What needs to happen is a new basketball coach if Pope doesn't work out and it needs to be a big hire, then we need to rework JMI contract and basketball schedule which will allow us to do 3 games live stream on Netflix to do the same Deal Amazon Prime did with Duke.... this all seems obvious to me and that's how we get back to being a top 4 program.

It wouldn't be a home run hire, he has been an AD for only 5 years. Good thing those years were during the NIL era. New face that is young enough to be excited and want to leave a mark. Sad part, he is coming into a furnace fire in basketball. Hope he does well if hired. Barney will be gone June 30th, I am celebrating already.

The guy from Boise State is the first AD in their history to fire a coach mid season.

He fired the football coach mid season and 2 years later they were in the CFP.

This guy has the balls to fire failing coaches.

We want this guy.

She is a very impressive individual and appears to be committed to Vanderbilt, as she holds three (3) degrees from there. She has been recognized as a top administrator, receiving the 2024-25 NACDA AD of the Year Award and the 2024 Sandy Barbour Nike Division I FBS Executive of the Year.

Boise State University (BSU), Jeramiah Dicke. He was at Baylor and has been at BSU since 2020 or 2021. The 24/25 AD of the year. He signed an extension thru 2029. There are no guarantees, but I believe he would be a hell of a hire. I think he is 45 years old, so he should have several good years ahead of him.

Friday before Memorial Day (JMI is working on new naming rights of Memorial Day btw) to make sure they have a three-day post-graduation weekend so that the phones ring to a full voicemail box.
