Yes the majority of our uniforms have sucked. I do wonder if it was more the people at Nebraska keeping the uniforms blah and trying to hold to tradition to a sense.

I know we as fans want to believe we still hold name recognition like we did 20 years ago, but we just don't. We need other ways to get kids interested, to draw attention. Now I'm not saying having new flashy uniforms is going to do that 100%, but I doubt it hurts. Pretty well every coach that has spoke on the topic of alt uniforms say that players and recruits love them. The same way our facilities need to be updated and modernized, uniforms are no different. I am also not saying we get crazy like Oregon. But 2 or 3 times a year is perfectly fine.

I’m not against some alternate stuff but to think we need to change our identity is doing nothing but changing who we’ve long been identified as. We’ve been lost but certainly not forgotten considering we can recruit near the top of our conference even being as bad as we’ve been.
