Clemson's total domination of Alabama was mind blowing. Their QB looks like the next Heisman.
I actually turned the game off at the half with it being so one sided.

Alabama may be better than Clemson on both sides of the ball -
But last night , ‘fast and loose’ won.

Clemson didn't look like that all season. They barely won a few games against bad ACC teams. I wasn't sold on them having a chance but they showed up when it mattered the most and everything just clicked for them in the best possible time.

This is one of those games that if you looked at the statistics and not the score, you could conclude it was a close game:
http://www.espn.com/college-football/matchup?gameId=401032087

First downs: Clemson 21, Bama 23
Total Yards Clemson 482, Bama 443
Time of possession: Clemson 28:23; Bama 31:37

Bama had two turnovers to zero for Clemson, but that does not account for the beat down of 44-16.

Clemson will be back in it next year. Their QB is a Freshman, and the two leading receivers from last night, Ross and Higgins, are a freshman and a sophomore. Their RB, Etienne, is a sophomore.
With such young talent at skill positions, it is amazing they could field a semblance of an offense.

Funny how coaching and player development works.

Think they said they will also have a senior Oline next year as well.

Clemson destroyed every ACC team except for 10-3 Syracuse. Please tell me the bad ACC teams Clemson barely beat.

I saw nothing to indicate that Alabama "may be better than Clemson on both sides of the ball." Alabama has looked very beatable the last few games they've played. Their defense, typical of Saban, has a bunch of big boys up front designed to stop the run and get off the field. Get them running around a little bit, and they start huffin' and puffin'. Problem for most of Alabama's opponents is they don't have the superior offensive talent of a Georgia, Oklahoma or Clemson to expose the Tide.

I am NOT a Bama fan
I only like Clemsen slightly more

I have my doubts about whether many are actual students
(sorry..ive been a college Prof for decades)
while I know some are !

I am a Florida fan( I live here and taught here)

I will be happy when RUTGERS becomes a factor in college football

We’re down right now but we had a nice run. We can come back. Cause finished 15 and were not very good a few years ago.

What? It could have been 3 chips in a row. If Bryant had a ounce of accuracy throwing the ball Clemson would have won last year too. Everything clicked for Bama last year.

Clemson seemed to make every play. That 1 handed catch was unreal.

I felt bama could have just run the ball down Clemson's throat. They should have run it on 3rd and 4th during the series where they tried that terrible fake fg.

They could have had a bunch of 6-7 minute drives, kind of like Clemson's last drive of the game.

Isn't this the same type of info that some claim is why we are so bad? Too many young players?

4 out of 15 games were won by 13 or less
#15 Syracuse by 3
#16 Texas A&M by 2
Auburn by 8
NC State by 7
Which one of theses teams was a bad ACC team, 9 - 4 NC State?

It's the same narrative on the men's hoops board too, but we are not allowed to talk about that.
It's Rutgers. We need to age young players for them to produce. But then we don't develop them when they have been aged. We are screwed.

The Pack is not a good team.A 52-13 beating by A&M verified this.I follow them ,however, because my Grand Daughter is a student there and was on the dance team. They are better than RU but don't deserve to be ranked.

A B1G Time change is needed. When or if that will ever happen is in other hands than ours.

I think it would be unfair to real college students to categorize the Alabama starting team as students. Having said that, AL isn’t the only school to grease the skids for FB and BB players.

A former employee was a TA at Clemson teaching general math courses in early 2000’s. He was instructed by his Faculty Supv that he could give FB and BB players one of two grades - A or B, nothing else. Didn’t matter if the players did the work or not.
