Jesus we did move all the way to 20 I can't believe we moved that high on a home game even with a 32 point win. A&M down to 26 we could lose that quad 1 win if they don't win their next game.
Auburn #36 would need them to beat Bama to get them up to a quad 1 win probably.

Looks like 6 SEC teams get the NCAA invite but Bruce Pearl has some work to do. Not gonna shed a tear when MSU and Mizzou are left out.

Good to see aTm is still a Q1 for us.

What's going to be funny is when uNC loses at FSU tomorrow night, then UVA continues to lose and falls out of a Q1 and uNC again ends up with zero Q1 wins.
Someone working at ESPN will still have UNC as last four in/out....

Assuming Arkansas manages themselves well against UT Tuesday, and we take care of Vandy Wednesday, next Saturday would be a HUGE win for the Cats on the road. Just mammoth.
They can play it close but I certainly don't want Arkansas winning. They lose and sounds like they will be on the other side of the bracket from us in the SECT along with Bama.

Florida needs to win their last two games. They fell from 57 to 64 after the loss to Vandy. Only 12 spots from quad 2 road win

Does the NET still take wins/losses during conference tournaments, or does it end at the regular season?

Net rankings update:

#2 Alabama
#3 Tennessee
#14 Arkansas
#20 Kentucky
#26 Texas A&M
#36 Auburn
#40 Mississippi St
#49 Missouri
#64 Florida
#87 Vanderbilt
#129 Ole Miss
#145 Georgia
#156 LSU
#239 South Carolina
Like I said in another thread, we win our last two and win the SEC tourney and we are a number 3 seed. After the top 7 teams in the current rankings only 4 or 5 teams in minor conferences will have less than 8 losses (and only a few with 8) , and UT will probably be one of those few with 8 losses and we will have beaten them at least both times we met them. We win out and we'll be ranked between 10th and 12th in the polls and the Net rankings.

Agreed. Shew, it’s gonna be a tough game, especially with them getting Smith back. It’ll take a concentrated effort for 40 minutes. Everyone will have to be locked in. I’m assuming it’ll be also be their senior day.

Not likely to get to #3 seed man you are shooting way over the moon now. Also we have all said it 100 times winning the SEC tournament does nothing for you that game on Sunday does not factor in remember the year we won the SEC tournament in 2016 over Texas A&M ?
A&M got #3 seed and Kentucky got #4 seed anyway

ACC is trash top to bottom and the lower half of the big 12 is also over rated. 4 and 5 win teams in conference in the big 12 should not be on the bubble. Sorry, who cares who you played you gotta win some of the games.
There are 3 teams that are 16-13. Not sure if all are considered on the bubble but think West Virginia is if not mistaken. What’s funny is that they are only two of their wins being losses away from not even qualifying for the NIT as they would have a losing record. They barely nipped Auburn at home during the Big 12-SEC challenge. Think they are likely to lose their last 2 and finish 16-15 and be out regardless.

Just insane how much that bottom tier of the Big 12 is overrated. Comical really.

Agreed. Iowa state has pretty much rode their early win over #1 UNC (at the time) all year long. Best win OOC from there is probably ST. John’s at 17-13. WV best wins OOC was probably Florida and Auburn of which neither are going to make the tournament. Auburn still an outside chance but not likely to happen. OSU’s best OOC win was Wichita St, and Texas Tech is even hard to pick their best win OOC as their schedule was that weak and they lost 8 straight conference games.

Auburn needs to win one of their last two remaining games. Tall order against Tennessee and Alabama.

Yes, I rarely root for Ohio State but it was a no-brainer to root for them in this one. This loss should more than offset Illinois' win over Northwestern at home.

That was a huge jump for us. On a funnier note Dook is back down to 2 Quad 1 wins after Miami dropped.😂

Also UVA dropped way down and is close to not being a Quad 1 win for the cheats. How funny would it be if they fell a few more spots and put the cheats back at zero?

Everyone should turn on CBS and root for Michigan today over Wisconsin. That should put them in the top 50 of the NET and give us another Q-1 win

I've been saying it's been a disastrous season so far. Maybe now, it's turning around. At least it looks like it has. I just hope it continues.

All I want is to have FUN and experience enjoyment watching Kentucky basketball again. Up to the last game or two, it simply hasn't been there, for obvious reasons.

Let's keep up the hard work and keep improving, I can accept the results as long as I see this kind of effort being made.

Go Big Blue !
