Obviously, some input was put in incorrectly for Colgate that produced their rating. You would think someone would look things over before putting it out.

Best of Luck,

Colgate(1-1) played 2 home games against Army(5-2), 1-2 vs Q1, 3-0 Q2-4, 1 non D1
Army played 3 Neutral(CCSU, Fla., Buff.), 2 road(Colgate), 2-0 home. Colgate is rewarded by playing 1-1 vs a strong metrics team. Army(4-1) and Navy(3-1), 5-1 after 2 Bucknell wins, only Patriot teams to play OOC.
NET is going to be more RPI-like and less what it was last year.

B1G has 12 teams in the top 51, That will take care of itself.

I think there’s a day lag on the NET. Colgate was 1-0 and that is why they are #16. They’re 1-1 now and should drop way down today when the NET updates.

Nope. It has them correctly at 1-1. Michigan played a late game last night and is accurately lifted as 9-0

These rankings always suck until like February, even more this year with limited games

Interesting that they’ve reduced the NET formula to only two factors for this year instead of five. If net efficiency is now weighted as 1/2 of the metric then that could explain Colgate. It’s ridiculous, but it might be due to the new formula.

I couldn’t find the weighting of the two factors, but it seems like efficiency is probably half, which is sort of like using margin of victory without using margin of victory. In Colgate’s first game, they shot around 70% from 2 and 50% from 3, boosting their efficiency.
