How many losses does it take to knock Washington out of the top 75 NET so all those PAC 12 teams stop getting those quad 1 road wins.
Being our loss to E-ville seems to mire us lower than most feel we should be, doesn't Duke's losses to SFA and NCSt count as "Bad Losses"?Built into the algorithm... easily done and easily seen. Prime example is Duke.
Don't be sorry, join the club.Sorry to start another NET bashing thread, BUT here goes:
(Wednesday games/ Thursday NET changes)
Some more crazy, unjustified, inexcusable movements within the "infallible" NET system!!!!
- Syracuse moves from #67 up to #59 after winning AT #99 Pitt who drops to #108
- Virginia moves from #52 up to #51 after winning AT #85 V.Tech who drops to #84
- SFA (24-3/ 15-1) moves from #88 up to #82 after winning AT HOME versus #314 Northwestern St. (12-13/ 9-7) who drops to #315
- Marquette moves from #26 up to #25 after winning AT HOME versus #59 Georgetown who moves up to #58

- Florida moves from #33 up to #31 after winning AT HOME versus #29 LSU who drops to #33

Being our loss to E-ville seems to mire us lower than most feel we should be, doesn't Duke's losses to SFA and NCSt count as "Bad Losses"?
Come on, let's get real.
This is really the main issue with putting things into Quads
Because in reality.........is UT being ranked 74th or 76th really that much of a differenceIn reality tho, the Quads are just for grouping. You'd think when the committee sits down to seeding they are looking at things a bit more closely than that.
I mean it's one thing to be 4-0 in Quad 1 games against teams ranked 20-25 vs being 4-0 Quad 1 games vs say the top 4 teams in America.
I don't sweat the teams dipping in and out........because at the end of the day it's just going to come down to whenever the committee decides to pull the data. A team like UT could slip in and out of Quad 1 several times by March.
