Felt like a kick in the gut reading this .. I had some hope reading the update that he opened his eyes …. But as blue92 paraphrased Rev 21:4 … every tear will be wiped away and we shall rejoice with the Lord someday . All pain . All sin - gone — it’s my lifetime verse that I cling to because of the promise of such great things .
I’m so sorry for your loss, brother. The battle is won. Every tear will be wiped away.

I don't post on this forum very often, but some of you know me because I am a member of Big Blue Nation Cares. I have worked with BradyJames for about 15 years providing free basketball and football tickets to UK fans from all walks of life.
I'm writing tonight because (yesterday) my 32-year old son experienced cardiac arrest and his brain was without oxygen for way too long.
He is currently in a medically-induced coma in a hypothermic state - to supposedly preserve his organs.
Tonight at 9PM Eastern time, the doctors will begin raising his body temperature by 1/2 degree per hour until he reaches normal temp early tomorrow morning.
Most of the attending physicians don't think he has any chance at all of ever waking up again - but I've seed God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work bigger miracles.
So I ask any of you that are so inclined to pray for him. His name is Travis. There will be 100's of friends and family members tonight at 9PM who will stop what they are doing and spend a moment praying for God's intervention and Holy healing for Travis' life.
Thank you.
Praying for your son,you and your family.

Aloha UKnVaTech, my heart and prayers go out to you and your family as you mourn Travis' passing from this earthly sphere...you know, we all know that Travis is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior...no more pain, no more suffering. I pray that he went gently into the Loving arms of Jesus.

I pray that you will remember Travis with wonderful, happy memories and that you will celebrate his time with you and your loved ones. May His hand be upon you and your family.

With Aloha,

Alohacat

So sorry for your loss. I know there is nothing any of us can say right now that will make things better, but you know where he is and I'm sure that gives you some comfort. As the Word says, we don't grieve as those who have no hope. Praying that Jehovah Shalom who is our peace will give you and your family peace.

Travis went home to be with the Lord earlier this morning.
He had some significant medical conditions which were untreatable and would soon have caused him extreme pain and anguish.
God is merciful and spared him from that.
Our family all knows that we will one day be reunited with him.
Travis was a storm chaser - his favorites storms were tornadoes - and he hung on (8 days on life support) long enough to pass away at 1:13am on National Tornado Day.
I'd love to share a couple of links that illustrate his passion for extreme weather:

Words can’t express how sorry I am.

@UKnVaTech I haven't posted lately until today and somehow have missed this thread. I'm so very sorry for your loss brother take comfort that your son is at peace now and made whole again! I wish I had better words and comfort to provide that would ease your pain! I cannot even begin to fathom dealing with such as a father, man I just cant rightly describe how much I feel for ya man. I ssincerely mean this ,if there's anything I can do or this board can do to help y'all out don't hesitate to ask brother. If not ,you and yours will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers !!!!!

Sorry to hear that CC. I hope Travis and Britney get to soon meet each other and watch over our beloved Cats and each of you from above.

Sorry for your loss with Travis. 2-25 was the 2nd year anniversary of the poison plaging our country took our sons life. He was an awesome kid (37) , but he had developed so many health issues from the drugs. It brings some peace knowing he no longer suffers the pain he suffered. He had 9 surgeries in 30 days from merca. He was a shell of the man he was. Grief counseling and prayer help. Many funeral homes offer it. Prayers that you will find peace in knowing he no longer suffers.

Been praying for your son every morning and every night. I will continue to do so. Some things are hard to explain but I will go with the thought that the Man upstairs has a plan. I hope Travis is in a much better place and I believe that’s the case. So sorry for your loss.

Thank you all for prayers. Over the past couple of years, per Travis' doctors, his Adhesive Arachnoiditis caused Travis to face daily pain levels on par with Stage 4 Bone Cancer. He is pain-free now. God is merciful.

So sorry for your loss.

What an amazing and handsome young man. I know your heart is full and broken all at the same time.

Difficult to process these things in this life. We will understand one day.

So glad for you and him that he is no longer in pain. May God help you in the days and weeks ahead as you grieve this great loss in your life.
