My Mom is at death doors. She is 97 years old and i am going to hospital to sit with her again tonight. She is a great christian woman and it is just a matter of hours or days before the Lord calls her home. She is not taking fluids or food for 2 days now. Just wanted to tell you she love UK basketball. Last week she was getting ready to watch a game and she told the nurses to hurry and get her bath as the game was coming on. Just keep us in your prayer. Thanks for listening.

I’m.....sorry.

I know how you feel unfortunately. I’m coming up on my Mom’s one year death. If she’s able to communicate at all, tell her everything wish to say. Mine wa in a coma for a week and I really didn’t get a chance to tell her much of anything, Or at least she didn’t get a chance to respond. I hate it for you because no matter what age our parents are when they go, it’s not long enough.

You and your family is the n my prayers.

God bless your entire family. 97 years is a beautiful life, and I'm glad you get the chance to say goodbye, but I can't imagine any amount of time is enough.

Sounds like you and she both have your faith. Stay strong in that and know we're praying for you all.

Prayers for you and your mother. You only have one Mom, and its hard to let go. Know that she is going to a better place. God is waiting for her with open arms.

Just saw this thread. Prayers for you and your mom. Know what it’s like, as my grandparents were both cats fans till the end. They are the reason I’m so passionate about Uk. Just know that she will be with you watching the cats every game. God bless.

I have spent the last 3 nights with Mom and i just don't see how much longer she can hold on. Many of the nurses and staff have told me that her generation is the toughest generation they have seen. Can't be much longer. I asked God to take her home as this is not a quality of life she is in now.

Prayers sent for you. I know it's hard to lose mom or dad.. (She'll be going to a better place, remember that)..I lost my mom at 48, dad at 69 both from heart problems..
