Need some advice from Omaha vets....

I have everything booked to leave this evening for Omaha. Never been there before. I thought tickets would not be a huge issue since 6 teams gone home. I was very mistaken. I am waffling now if it is a wise idea to spend $1700 to travel to omaha and might not be able to get tickets or have to spend that much again just to get into the game. Am I being unreasonable or is there any assurance that tickets will be available for a semi reasonable price?

Should have bought them last week, that's what you get for being fair weather.

Just kidding, but yeah, you are going to pay for it now. I'm staying home this year as well, if it makes you feel better. There are a few of us.

It’s unfortunate for sure. Last week, we had the same discussion on here to buy early. Most of the lower level seats a couple sections down from the dugout were around $70-100. They are now $300+. Once two close proximity teams + our fan base was secure, they rose fast.

What is a reasonable price?

You can definitely roll to the day of the game and grab tix for cheaper than they are now. Will that be reasonable? Who knows.

If you are willing to risk it..... Historically the ticket prices will drop about 2 hrs before game time. I'm basing that simply on my experience from 2013
