This site shows 3 4 Stars but when you factor in all the recruiting sites, we have a total of 6 4 Stars. I’m liking what’s I’m seeing so far.

Nick Henrichs: 4 star on 24/7 and ESPN

Ron Thompkins: 4 star on 24/7 and ESPN

Luke McCaffery: 4 star on 24/7 and ESPN, ESPN top 300 (equals to rivals top 250) and number 1 player in Colorado.

Those are the other 3 Rivals kids that has a 5.7 3 star rating. Which is next to 4 star...min is 5.8. So I tend to give all three of these guys there 4 star when I’m talking Husker commits this year. That’s a 4 star Dual threat QB, 2 4 star RBs and 2 4 star LBs and a 4 star Juco OLineman. I’m loving it.

But hey, we could always use more then 6 4 star players. I’d take 10-12 total with maybe 1 or 2 being a 5 star ;)

This staff hasn't coached a single game here, and they haven't used any officials yet either. I think they might be waiting to "fire when they can see the whites of their eyes".

Maybe they are phoning whom they feel are legitimately highly ranked and fit the system. Getting ready for game day atmosphere, wowing with the facilities, and showing them their coaching style in the locker room.

As Pennsy says...patients grasshopper.

GBR!!!

I don’t mind discussing the topic but there are at least five other threads with the same discussion.
I agree. Don't mind discussing this, but it has now been discussed to death.

Our recruiting is what it is right now. Neither awful nor great. Still have about half of our scholies left and the season has yet to play out. If we put together a good season with some recruits attending some exciting and raucous home games, we will snag our share of 4 star guys is my guess.

Seems like first-year head coaches seems to be doing good in recruiting. Look at Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M, Mario Cristobal at Oregon, Willie Taggart at Florida State, and etc ranked in the top 10 so far.

Hey I’d love to have a higher ranking but having 6 4 Stars, several high ranked 3 star recruits isn’t horrible. Those guys you mentioned more then likely will have a good share decommit later on and we will get more as the season turns on. I do bet we hit around 10-13 total 4 Stars when it’s all said and done. No clue if there is a 5 star out there or not we have a chance to steal or not. But we will see.
