Need gift card ideas for incoming freshman

If I wanted to get a Starkville restaurant gift card for an incoming freshman, what would you recommend?

Someone asked me, and I could only come up with Strange Brew and Oby's. They were unsuccessful trying to get one from Little Dooey.

I would get a gift card for the Eat With Us group which is good for dining at Harvey’s, The Grill, Sweet Peppers Deli or BBC, (Bulldog Burger Co... Vic Schafer had said his ladies love it.)

You can get a gift card at any of those locations.

My favorites in college were SBC, Stromboli’s, Restaurant Tyler, Cappie’s(RIP) and Oby’s.

Fast food was McDonald’s, Sonic, Chick-fil-a and Hardee’s. Hardee’s had the student discount where you just buy the burger and get the drink and fries for free. Idk if that is still active or not.

This may be tantamount to heresy, but in my college years and 10 years living in Starkville I had never eaten at Strombolis. A couple weeks ago I finally decided to change that and ordered a pizza from there. I have to admit I was not impressed. Crust was almost thin enough to read a newspaper through and was too sweet for my taste pizza crust wise. I much prefer Daves or Lost Pizza.

I really like their sweet crust. It’s actually why we went so much in college. I do totally get how you and others don’t like it though.

I haven't found anything at Stromboli's I like. It's my wife and kids first choice most times, so I walk across the street to Camphouse and let them get their Stromboli fix. Camphouse beer selection is strong as are, fish tacos , pesto shrimp pasta, Cajun seafood grits, and Camphouse burger
