Heard Cowherd say on his show today that college football is the 2nd most popular sport in the US but can't find a link. Find it hard to believe, but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Anyone got a link?

It's a 30 minute "best of" from the show. Otherwise, you have to be an ESPN Insider to listen to the whole thing.

I'm sure NFL is the most popular.

depends how you define popular... Sure the NFL is king among middle-age white men in non-SEC states, but almost everybody (even a lot of chicks) has a favorite baseball team. However, I'm sure the NFL wins in advertising revenue. Well, maybe not. I dunno.
