Watson sprained left ankle... so the announcers think... or they think he just lost his shoe...
Some decent games going on tonight. Florida Gulf Coast leading Wichita State in the second half. Should the Huskers stumble through the conference schedule this year, Moos might want to have FGCU coach Joe Dooley on speed dial.

Couldn't make it tonight. He loses a shoe at least once a game it seems.
They're only a 2 win team but they played some good teams pretty closely. So a big spread would be a good win
Unfortunately Watson’s jersey doesn’t say Kansas on the front, so when he throws a shoe while on defense, the refs don’t award a free timeout. Funny how that works.

That's how we should handle teams we should beat.
Hopefully we don't only do that to teams with only a couple wins. Sure would be nice to do it to some mediocre teams.

Even the Fox Sports 1 announcers remarked on how ridiculous that was. Huskers are in an offensive set, Jayhawk throws a shoe and they immediately stop the game. As a bonus, no time is added to the shot clock. But hey, if you want to keep working Big 12 games, you pucker up for Ol' Bill.
