Nebraska vs Colorado Ticket Scams

I have been looking for tickets for awhile now and I am amazed by the amount of scams out there. I really hope people aren't falling for it. I would say I have contacted at least 10 separate listings of fake tickets. I say this because they won't accept PayPal where you actually purchase tickets with protections. This is a dead giveaway. I would say each of these listings could easily be use to "sell" to multiple people as of course if the tickets aren't real you can sell as many of them as you want.

I have also seen probably legit tickets posted with barcodes in picture. These tickets are prime to be copied and sold so even someone buying legit tickets might end up having an issue in the end. I have a feeling there is going to be a bunch of people pissed off come Saturday when they go to get in the game.

1620 mentioned this morning something like 1000 people got scammed and when they went to get in they couldn't get in. They said the ticket office had a pile of fake tickets sitting there from people who went there after they were told they couldn't get in. Anybody here willing to admit they got scammed?

I knew this was going to happen. Almost everyone I contacted on craigslist was fake tickets. They wouldn't take PayPal which is a dead giveaway and there ticket listings for $200 were always available. I am so lucky I found a legit guy who sold me tickets at a reasonable price.

I don’t understand why anyone would buy a ticket from someone who would not accept PayPal. I got mine on Stubhub and had no problems. A few minutes into the game three obnoxious and vulgar Husker fans barged their way into the open seats right in front of me. They were throwing out F bombs and loudly proclaiming they had been scammed on their tickets. The three guys said their tickets got them in the stadium but when they got to the seats the long time ticket holder claimed he had never sold his tickets and that someone was selling fake tickets for his seats online. So these three guys were for searching for any open space to watch the game. They could not have been ruder. One knucklehead was being pretty unpleasant to a 85 year old woman sitting two seats to my right. She was politely telling them she couldn’t see. When the ticket holders for the seats arrived a few minutes later even I was happy to see them go. So what they were fellow Husker fans. They were jerks. If a deal seems to good to be true maybe there is a reason for it. They are Fake!
