Didn’t watch game, don’t have to. Obviously we as Husker fans haven’t been living right. We have to exercise the demons or this will follow us to the grave quick. It’s like someone has been stealing Jobu’s rum for two decades.

Why can Creighton put a good team together every year, but we can't? They have all the same disadvantages we have - they have the worst location of any Big East school yet still manage to find good players to compete in a tough conference.

You can't tell me it's because McDermott is an elite coach, he absolutely sucked at Iowa State, even Doc had a much better Big 12 record than he did.

JMO...McDermott recruits to a specific system and has a great knack for picking guys that will have good team chemistry. Hoiberg has Matt A look for "the best talent" with apparently no clue of how they will mesh together, and no regard of how the other B1G teams are put together. Believe me, I hate Creighton and it sucks to admit.

The more each fan of ours brings up McDermott sucking at ISU compared to Fred the dumber we look. That coaching transition was TWELVE years ago. McDermott has completely changed his recruiting and in-game philosophy since then, yet all I continue to see is “but he sucked at ISU”. Yes he did, but now, in the present day that actually matters, he’s light years ahead of anything we have.
