What are the chances of a AD Moos press conference Monday at 11AM?
Could be as early as tomorrow. I imagine between now and Monday. The Altman extension basically guaranteed that Moos offered him the job. Timmy will be gone by this time next week, and I highly doubt we'll accept an NIT bid.

I don’t understand why we would turn down a NIT bid. Would be kind of a slap in the face to the players.

Moos is out of town this weekend. Do you fire a coach over the phone? I guess that may be the business.....but I would expect better

I think Moos will be watching his kid in Cal's spring game, which is Saturday at 11 AM Pacific, then probably going out to dinner and all that. I don't think this type of thing is normally done on Sunday, so my vote is Monday.

When U of AZ bad regular season ended a couple days ago their coach was asked about the NIT and he laughed it off. Hopefully it won’t be too many years before our coach has the same attitude. Slap in the face to the players? The ones who played their hearts out for the past three days or the ones who showed little interest in basketball since the beginning of January? From a practical standpoint we need to get a new coach and end this season now.

Great effort, I think the end of the game the tired legs finally showed. If it's true we offered Altman and he turned it into a raise, then we're already headed for a shitshow as we get deeper into the list. I'm not in favor of keeping Miles, but I was hoping that Moos already had his guy in the bag. There is danger of driving this thing even deeper into the ditch.

The Cal spring game was a perfect smokescreen for Moos to do interviews, Moos is a seasoned veteran of an AD he'll fire Tim in person probably on Sunday or Monday.

Why can’t an assistant coach them in the NIT?

Good game and great fun, Huskers.
Any rumblings on Miles' future?
All signs point to him being gone. The biggest canary in the coal mine was Dana Altman UO head coach, nebraska native, and former Creighton HC signing a huge extension out of the blue in the middle of his conference tournament. Pretty much guarantees he was offered another job, all signs point to that being us.

Or perhaps after Altman and Oats and everyone else on his list turned him down, he decided to stick with Miles. We will see.

Moos will make a statement in 45 minutes. Has not told Miles what it was, Miles said it'll probably be something to the effect of letting the entire season play out whether that be NIT etc.
