I have no idea how stable the Big 12 really is, and I doubt Osborne does either. NU left the conference in 2010 and he hasn't been their AD for 5 years.

Does Osborn really want Nebraska to continue annual losses to Oklahoma? He obviously forgot that Texas controls the Big 12.

I can see KU leaving. But do they really matter?

OU and Texas will not want to lose big money for a pay cut in B1G for the first 5 years.

Flash full membership money right off the bat an I can see at least OU going. I don't see Texas as a Good fit for B1G.

Tom Osborne knows just about as much as we do. Which is the Big 12 is currently on unstable foundation. .

And you seemingly can't wait until that day the Big XII implodes.

Only if WVU lands in ACC. Best case is Big12 survives and continues to be the red-headed step child of P5 and watches money dip. Worst case is Big12 implodes and WVU out in the cold. Is that what you think?

Nothing is going to happen until at least 2023, so speculation is pointless. If the B12 wins a couple of football titles between now and then, all perspectives will be different.

As for Osborne, I am just shocked that a guy who complained about being in the Big 12 would speak negatively about it after his school left. Credible much?

Allen OU and Texas would be immediate members with full payouts. Those programs are Blue Blood. They aren't WVU.

Not much need to worry, nothing we can do about it. I'm sure most agree that the Big 12 isn't the ideal situation, but given our options, I think we came out better than most would have expected. We could have ended up in no mans land, just hope we could get in the ACC if it ever does implode, but seriously doubt they'll take us for whatever reasons!!

Well said! Absolutely had to pursue and accept the Big12 option. Texas and Oklahoma hose their conference partners. That's what rustles me.
