I caught a little of the show Inside the NFL this week with Suh as a guest. They asked him who has been the most influential coach in his career. He said my S & C coach. Shapes your body and mind to prepare for the season. Interesting mention since we have criticized our S&C coach.

I saw this segment. Phil asked him if he understands why some teams have a winning culture and some don’t, since he’s played for multiple teams. Suh’s answer was that the 3 most important people in an organization are the owner, head coach, and strength and conditioning coach, which I think surprised some of the panel.

I can see that. The S&C coach spends more time with the players than probably any other coach.

Slight thread hijack but fun fact nonetheless, Shel Silverstein wrote that song. I never knew that until I watched Ken Burns' country music documentary recently. Excellent documentary, btw.
