Don't you like the way he walks around holding his head to communicate that it is the players and not his coaching.
In all seriousness, this team will have to win the SEC Tournament to get an NCAA bid. I don’t see that happening, so two seasons in a row with no tournament for us. How does that happen with all of the so-called talent on this roster?
Yeah, if we can't turn this around and get our clocks cleaned all the way to March and then we have a mass exodus again, I think the fan base will be near revolt. Cal won't get fired but attendance won't be great next year when COVID subsides.
That’s probably single biggest problem. You can’t build continuity when your star players go pro and your role players transfer because they aren’t good enough to.
Well there wasn't a tournament for ANYONE last year lol.
If Cal wants to last another couple yrs, he has to change his recruiting strategy. He values athletes over players. That must change

It's amazing. I've never seen such an easy-to-grasp point lost on so many here.
He can sure stop blowing smoke up their backsides to convince them they are NBA ready. He is more interested in being the NBA pipeline than a great UK coach.

We were a 2 to 4 seed last year had the tournament been played.
The kicker is.........with the way this season is playing out.......it's not as if they have to add **** like that to make their story better.
A question that comes to my mind over and over is, why dont they want to stay? Or what's causing them to leave repeatedly?
And its beyond obvious that Payne was our good coach that the players respected.
For sure! This is awful. I bet we miss the tournament as it is. IDK why including last year as some sort of failure is even relevant.
