Why is Toppin still in the game? He has been one of the worst players on the team and that's saying something given our collective ineptitude.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the whole concept of "dribble drive" was that everyone crashed the boards (instead of having 3 guys stand on the perimeter with their hands in their pockets)?

You can tell ND players want it more. They play hard and compete on every play. Kentucky has yet to show a glimpse of toughness. They are still learning this is big boy ball. No longer the man in AAU. Hopefully they will get there.

Is anyone else tired of the emphasis Cal puts on blocking shots? The weak side defender comes over flying thorough the air and either commits a foul or gives up an easy rebound for a put back. Year after year.

Getting blow out two games in a row by unranked teams. It doesn’t get any better than that. Pathetic.

If it’s not Sarr or Clarke shooting I don’t have any faith in it going in

At least the NBA started last night and I can see what good basketball looks like again

I've seen this pattern of playing stall ball before but never to this extent. We play like we scared of Notre Dame.

I guess Kenny Payne was the coach who actually taught the players how to play basketball. Wow we miss him!
Bingo - Calipari lost his best recruiter about 5-6 years ago, and we have seen the recruiting drop off. Payne leaves, and now we seen a coaching crash...

I was going to ask if we could get it under 10 before the half, but after those last two bricks, I think that the answer is an obvious no!

Has anyone killed us like this in Rupp before? This is the worst beating at home I can remember in my lifetime (I'm 35).
Yes, Eddie Sutton's second team lost to LSU in 1987 by about 34-35, as I recall. Looked a lot like this game. Other than that, I can't recall another beating in Rupp that was that bad.
